About the Project

Filming entirely on location in Key West, Florida, the production is seeking local actors for supporting and featured roles.

An independent horror-comedy feature film from producer Tony Armer is shooting entirely in Key West. The project features a mix of action, adventure, and supernatural elements, highlighting iconic island locations and local culture.

All hell breaks loose in paradise when a spunky Key West waitress accidentally resurrects a lesbian ghost pirate. The spirit of the legendary Anne Bonny chops her way through the haunted island, raising an undead army in search of lost treasure and her long lost lover Mary Read.

MARY – Lead

Gender: Female Age Range: 20s-30s
Description: A sharp-witted, grounded waitress in Key West. Sarcastic but big-hearted. Accidentally awakens Anne Bonny’s spirit and discovers she’s the long lost ancestor of Mary Read, Anne’s former lover.
Her arc takes her from not wanting to get involved to reluctant hero wielding a sword against supernatural chaos.
Notes: Needs good comedic timing. Must be athletic, strong emotional range, light stunt/sword work.

ANNE BONNY – Antagonist / Lead

Gender: Female Age Range: 20s-30s
Description: The fiery Irish pirate ghost resurrected from pirate legend. Fierce, sensual, commanding, her centuries-long love for Mary Read drives her to madness and murder. Speaks in lyrical pirate cadence. Irish accent prefered.
Notes: A scene stealer, chews up the screen. Must convey power, seduction, and danger; swordplay; stunt work.

Supporting Roles (Local Casting – Key West)

A ghostly mentor and spiritual guide who bridges the worlds of the living and the dead. Wise, calming, and otherworldly, with moments of warmth and quiet humor.

EZEKIEL – Male, 20s–40s
A resurrected ghost with commanding physicality and a menacing aura. Minimal dialogue, some stunts, relies on movement, energy, and intensity.

DESIREE – (Drag Queen), 30s–50s
The heart of a local drag show, funny, confident, larger-than-life, but with genuine warmth beneath the glamour. A showstopper who lights up the screen. Requires physical action.

ERNESTO – Male, 30s–60s
A sleazy local politician. Charming in public, shady behind the scenes. Smooth talker with an oily grin.

A haunted tour guide with high energy and great storytelling instincts. Funny, dramatic, and sells every ghost story with flair.
